A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a type of company set up for the benefit of a community or with a social purpose. As your CIC Accountants Wirral, we can cover all of your community interest company accounting needs.
The purpose of a CIC is to generate profits that are used to fund social, environmental, or community initiatives, rather than generating profits for private shareholders. CICs are regulated by the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies and must adhere to a set of rules and regulations.
CICs are required to provide an annual Community Interest Report that outlines their activities and the impact they have had on their community.
